Parallel Conference is a conference for men and women happening at the same time and in the same place for the purpose of unifying us in the revival of our purpose as men and women in the Kingdom of God.
One of the problems that I have noticed over the years with men and women in the church is that they will each go to a conference or event for their gender and come back fired up and excited for the Lord only to find the other gender not fired up because they were not there. In my opinion this has caused a lack of application of the effectiveness of these powerful events and can even cause problems between men and women believers in the church.
How it will work:
Men and women will sit on different sides of the sanctuary and will enjoy worship together and then hear from both male and female speakers. The male speaker will address the men and the women will get to listen in. Then, the female speaker will address the women and the men will get to listen in. This will allow the women to hear and understand how the men are being encouraged and challenged to serve the Lord as men of God and it will allow the men to hear how the women are being taught and encouraged to be women of God.
Note: This is not a marriage conference. Couples are most definitely welcomed and encouraged to come together but will sit on opposite sides of the sanctuary. This is by design. Single men and women of all ages are encouraged to come. There are breakout sessions designed specifically for the single person whether you be a teenager, divorcee, retired, widow or widower, or anywhere in between.
